Frequently asked questions

What is Harvard referencing?

An author–date style: in-text citations give the author and year, and a full reference list appears at the end in alphabetical order.

Is Harvard the same as APA?

They're similar author–date styles, but punctuation and layout differ. Use the one your module handbook asks for.
